BREAKING: Ted Cruz and Rand Paul Vote AGAINST Fake “Compromise”

I actually think there are a few; a FEW civilized politicians left out there these days. Yes, there are still some things we can disagree with them about, but in the end, we may almost see eye-to-eye on everything. This is where Ted and Rand come in. I wanna aplaude the both of you for what you've been doing and trying to point out during the shutdown so far. The sheeple need to pull their heads out of their asses and wake up, and realize that the Dems and even many Republicans aren't gonna help them out.

Today's vote in the Senate and House were both examples of why I can trust Ted and Rand. Marco and I have a shaky relationship after his immigration bill he tried pushing. Don't push it Senator.

Via Capitalism Institute:

Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul both voted against the fake “compromise” that the GOP leadership worked out with the Democrat Party. The end result of the “compromise” was that Obamacare is almost untouched, the negotiating power of the GOP was substantially hurt permanently, and Obamacare is partly delayed… for UNIONS.
Rand and Ted rightfully kept their names off of this pathetic “compromise” because it simply wasn’t a compromise. It was a president using the threat of economic catastrophe to manipulate the GOP leadership into caving… once again.
Both men have issued press releases explaining why they refused to cave on this issue, and more people need to read their reasoning… especially “moderate” Republicans who think they’re somehow “negotiating” with Obama when they give him everything for nothing.
Here’s what Sen. Rand Paul issued:
“[O]ur country faces a problem bigger than any deadline: a $17 trillion debt. I am disappointed that Democrats would not compromise to avoid the looming debt debacle.”
Here’s what Sen. Ted Cruz said:
“Throughout this debate, I have had one standard for whether I would support any deal: ‘Does it provide meaningful relief for the millions of Americans who are being harmed by Obamacare?’ The answer is no.
…The fight against Obamacare must continue in the face of Washington’s apathy. That is where my attention will remain focused.”
You can see Ted Cruz’s statements from earlier in this video.
In the end, the GOP must reform or die. It must become more principled, more strategically savvy, and less inclined to do whatever Obama tells them. In other words, if the GOP is to survive, then it needs more Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.

In the end, I agree with CI here. The GOP must reform, and look back and readopt the principles it was founded on: to be pro-small government, pro-individual, and be for lowering taxes for everyone. At the same time, the GOP needs to embrace the liberty movement. The Libertarian Party will continue to gain more support from these liberty-lovers (maybe me soon), and this will only hurt the GOP more. It's time to choose, embrace the liberty movement, and go back to when you were a better party, or stay the way you are, slamming those within you trying to do good, and die off.
